Achieve My Educational Goals

Chipotle believes in lifetime learning and wants to empower you and your family to pursue your educational goals. We’re pleased to offer the following programs and benefits to eligible Staff employees. A combination of education and financial benefits can help you pursue your education, manage life while you're enrolled, and help you pay off student debt.

Paying For Your Degree

Debt-Free Degrees

You pay for the books, we'll pay for the tuition. Pursue an eligible degree completely tuition free. Choose from over 20 schools, colleges, and universities, and from a variety of studies including:

  • Agriculture
  • Business
  • Culinary Arts
  • Hospitality
  • Technology

Tuition Reimbursement & Assistance

Want to pursue a degree that's not included in the Debt-Free Degree options? You can be reimbursed for up to $5,250 of eligible expenses each year, including tuition, fees, and more. Please note that the $5,250 annual limit is shared with any Tuition Assistance your family receives.

Tuition Assistance For Your Family

Your family members may also participate in Chipotle's Tuition Assistance program for completing pre-designated classes including:

  • Online high school completion/General Education (GED, HSE, TASC) prep courses
  • Required state testing
  • English as a second language (ESL) classes

Dependent Care While You're In Class

Did you know that if you're attending school full-time, you can use your Dependent Care FSA towards the cost of child care? An FSA allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to use on eligible expenses such as daycare, pre-school, before and after school care, and even summer camp.

FSAs are a great way to make your paycheck dollars stretch further. Each FSA requires enrollment during Open Enrollment.

Get Additional 401(k) Funds While Paying Student Loans

With Secure 2.0, Chipotle will match your eligible student loan payments in the form of an additional 401(k) employer contribution. This contribution, subject to annual limits, will be added to your account at the end of the year. You must be eligible for the 401(k) Retirement Plan in order to receive the student loan contribution match.
